Rice sticks, better known as pad Thai or Rice Stick noodles are the Oriental equivalent of pasta, which instead of wheat flour, has been made from a paste of rice flour and water. This paste has been spread thinly, cut into flat strips and dried. Because rice stick noodles are made from pure rice flour and water, they are gluten free and come with all the nutritional benefits of rice cereal, which is high in iron, calcium and Vitamins B1 and B2.
